Indigenous Greek Black Pig of Olympus, a native treasure. Ancient inhabitant of the Mediterranean, raised at the foot of Olympus and fed with our national fruit, the olive, which provides it with special flavors and high nutritional value. It also contains omega 3-omega6 fatty acids which are 58 times higher than the conventional pork, more protein and iron and less intramuscular fat. It is probably the most “Made in Greece” product.
Two decades have passed since the Farm’s first contact with the wild boar. Since 1990, the wild boar, raised at the foot of Olympus in a winter pasture of 300,000 m2, has become object of research for university professors into the treatment, pathology and its feeding. Due to the ideal pasture and its plant-based feeding, it stood out for its flavor and quality.
With the intention of producing quality and moral deli meats, sliced-to-order deli meats were introduced to the Farm’s variety by selecting high quality raw materials with respect to the consumer and his needs.
