Fotiadis Farm participates this year in the Researcher’s Night, since there is a valuable collaboration between the National Center for Research and Technological Development (CERTH) and the Farms.

The National Center for Research and Technological Development (EKETA) organizes for another year with the support of the European Commission, the “Researcher’s Night” on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Warehouse C of the TPA starting at 18:00.

1,500,000 visitors participate in 300 European cities on the last Friday of September in this institution, which lasts 10 years and aims to promote the profession of researcher. At the same time, it aims to bring researchers closer to society by informing citizens about the benefits of research and innovation in humans and economic development. A total of 8 cities in Greece are participating in this year’s Researcher Night: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, Trikala, Corinth, Rhodes, Pylos.

The night this year in Thessaloniki will last from 18.00 to 24.00. During it, visitors will have the opportunity to watch a number of technological achievements, which will be presented by researchers in an interactive and understandable way through scientific experiments, artistic events, discussions on current topics and research games for all ages. bringing research and technology into lively dialogue with society. As part of the Researcher’s Night, a series of surprise actions will also take place, which will precede the calendar of the event and aim to attract the interest of the citizens for the Night and its goals.
